GIVE STRESS WINGS AND LET IT FLY AWAY

Here I go talking about about stress again, but, in these times of chaos and uncertainty it is important to revisit the practices the center us. We must remind ourselves repeatedly of the behaviors that work that work and acknowledge that our success is hinged on our willingness to access the skills that can keep us more comfortable. We must practice to maintain those skills and even expand them to others, as I am to you, in a sense of supportive association. By doing so, we will strengthen ourselves repeatedly.
The first step in dealing with your stress requires emotional and physical energy. This includes learning about yourself, determination and some play each day. You have heard of much of this before but it calls for repeating during these difficult times involving so much tension, illness and divisiveness.
Let's start easily with the things you chose to eat. Eat some dark chocolate. It is loaded with nutrients that are good for you and can reduce your risk of disease. Mangoes are also a winner. They contain some of the same ingredients that are found in lavender oil and we know how relaxing lavender can be and, instead of clenching your teeth, crew down on anything crunchy.
After you chow down to lessen stress, practice progressive muscle relaxation, imagining the most peaceful area you would love to visit, rolling a ball underneath your feet, splashing cool water on your face, cuddling a pet, avoid caffeine and talk with friends and family who are not a source of stress.
Some of these things were also supported by Terri Guillemets. I have not met her but I certainly agree with her.
Calmly,
